Window Nation is currently experiencing rapid growth and is searching for a Senior Accountant in Fulton, MD. The candidate will report to and work closely with the Controller to prepare, review, and deliver timely and accurate financial and operating information to the company leaders on a recurring basis. Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting, A/P, A/R, General Ledger, Revenue Recognition and Treasury Operations in a team environment Collaborate with the CFO, Controller, and other company leaders on special projects and requests, as required, to accommodate accelerated growth and strategic initiatives Great opportunity for upward mobility and career growth within the organization Position Requirements:
Assists with the monthly financial statement close process, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and timely in accordance with US GAAP as well as analyzing and reviewing financial statements and variances Perform month-end general ledger close activities including accruing expenses, preparing, reviewing and recording journal entries, reconciling general ledger and sub-ledger accounts and other analysis Prepare, review and analyze balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations Provide guidance and support to the treasury management function Provide audit support and assist in the compilation of information to external auditors Reviews and develops policies and procedures to ensure SOX compliance Perform other tasks as assigned Success Factors:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field required Master's Degree or CPA eligibility required At least 3 years' experience in accounting, financial reporting or related field Experience preferred in Public Accounting, or related industry experience Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP Advanced Excel skills including PowerPivots, macros and advanced formulas Experience with ERP system Microsoft Dynamics Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Access Effective written and verbal communication skills Highly-motivated and career-driven individual
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
