We are seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to fuel this dramatic growth and join our dynamic team.
Our Web Developer will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our company's website and applications.
Position responsibilities will primarily revolve around template development for Window Nation's websites and landing pages, website optimization to uplevel user experience and drive incremental traffic, and prioritizing/addressing web related ticket submissions which may include investigating and fixing broken pages.
Core Job Responsibilities Create visually appealing and functional landing pages that align with Window Nation's branding and marketing strategies Investigate and resolve issues related to broken pages, errors, and inconsistencies on all Window Nation domains and websites to ensure a seamless user experience Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and content creators, to implement and integrate their contributions into the website Maintain content management system (Wordpress) and function as Window Nation's website administrator Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and rectify any code-related issues or errors that may affect Window Nation website's performance Provide support for web related ticket submissions, promptly addressing user inquiries and issues while maintaining a high level of professionalism and customer service Assist in the implementation of SEO best practices, collaborating with SEO manager to optimize WindowNation.
com's visibility and ranking in search engine results Assist with coding lead forms and emails within Window Nation's CRM (MS Dynamics) Implement and modify code associated with marketing analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA4), Google Optimize, and ad platforms Stay up to date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and frameworks, and suggest innovative ideas to enhance the website's functionality and performance Collaborate with other developers to learn and grow your skills, actively participating in code reviews and seeking feedback to improve your development capabilities Contribute to Window Nation's documentation of coding standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency and maintainability of the website Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, Web Development, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Minimum 5 years of experience in web development for customer-facing applications, preferably in a professional setting Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with PHP or other server-side programming languages Experience working on websites that generate 100k
user sessions/month Strong knowledge of modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility Proficient in using version control systems, such as Git, for code collaboration and version management Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.
js Understanding of web analytics tools (GA4), SEO principles, and accessibility standards.
