Job Overview:
We are seeking a versatile and customer-focused individual to join our dynamic team as a Picker, Shipper, and Customer Service Representative.
This multifaceted role involves efficiently picking and packing orders, ensuring timely shipments, and providing exceptional customer service to enhance the overall customer experience.
Responsibilities:
Order Picking:
Accurately pick items from designated locations based on customer orders.
Utilize order sheets or computer systems to identify and locate products.
Verify product codes, quantities, and quality to ensure order accuracy.
Packaging:
Safely and securely package items for shipment according to company standards.
Use appropriate packaging materials and methods to prevent damage during transit.
Ensure all required documentation, such as packing slips and labels, is included with each shipment.
Shipping:
Coordinate with shipping carriers and schedule pickups or drop-offs.
Generate shipping labels and ensure proper documentation is attached to each shipment.
Customer Service:
Interact with customers via phone and email to address inquiries and provide product information.
Assist customers with order placement, tracking, and returns.
Resolve customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner.
Inventory Management:
Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
Communicate with the inventory team to restock picking locations as needed.
Conduct periodic cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
Organization and Cleanliness:
Keep the warehouse area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Properly store products in designated locations for easy retrieval.
