Junior to Mid-level IT Support/Administrator, you will be responsible for providing desktop IT support to users, ensuring a high level of customer service at all times. Responsibilities include a variety of duties, from helpdesk support services through to server maintenance, core networking, system design, implementation testing and deployment.
Understands the issues involved with administering and maintaining corporate infrastructure, including network connectivity, Internet access, email, etc.
Understands the issues involved in administering and maintaining corporate WAN.
Knowledge of Sonic wall firewall is desired.
Assists with the administration and maintenance of the telephone system (Avaya), including telephone switches.
Assists with the creation of new hire telephone and voicemail extensions, routing extensions to appropriate locations and updating information as Innovator seating assignments change.
Helps set up and maintain computer stations and software as needed.
Internal Systems
Assists in supporting corporate applications; internal corporate servers, user desktops, etc.
Assists with basic troubleshooting, backup, and archiving.
Helps install and improve computer software and network equipment.
Experience with administration of SharePoint is highly desired.
Experience with any of the following servers is required: Dell, Cisco, IBM and MS Servers
New Hire Administration
Creates network and email for new users as needed
Sets up computers for new users and ensures delivery of equipment to users in different locations if necessary.
Help Desk Administration
Helps answer all trouble calls/emails in a timely manner.
Administration and maintenance of Internal Systems programs as well as operating systems used.
Interacts with clients to resolve basic help desk issues; communicates with employees in a professional manner
Ideal candidate will have experience with Windows 7 and Office365, as well as virtualization tools such as: VmWare, HyperV, Vsphere.
Candidates with a BS in process or completed is preferred. Certification in A+, Security+ or Network+ is also desired.
Asset Management
Assists with the inventory management of software licenses, software, hardware, and other IT supplies.
Purchase of software, hardware and other IT supplies.
Promotes responsible usage, repair and care of corporate equipment.
Duties include:
Provide on-site technical support for the integration of Information Technology (IT) hardware and software upgrades modifications
Support for maintenance of the system architecture configuration and baseline maintenance
Provide activity based technical and engineering support for process configuration, and provide recommendations for alternative courses of action to more effectively accomplish the integration of upgrades and modifications of installed equipment. Resolve networking issues and provide recommendations for improvement or alternative networking strategies
Conducting preliminary network testing after integration and configuration of site upgrades and modifications
Provide support for web sites, and home pages
Work with users to insure new systems are integrated into the architecture
Perform other duties as assigned

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
