Primary Skills: front-end Web development, Javascript and Jquery, UI design, html, Sass
Duration: Short Term Contract
Location: Fulton, MD
Contract Type: W2 Only
Qualifications:
MINIMUM of 5 years front-end Web development experience
Strong understanding of Javascript and Jquery, additional javascript libraries a plus
Intimate knowledge of html best practices, experience with accessibility practices a plus
Intimate knowledge of css, understanding of Sass
Ability to deliver high quality, maintainable html, javascript, and css
Familiarity with Bootstrap and Ruby on Rails
Ability to interpret design mockups and transform them into responsive front-ends designs
Familiarity with Git and Pull request/Peer Review process
Experience in UI design a plus.
Ability to write Unit tests for software written in Ruby and Javascript
Ability to negotiate for solutions to solve software problems
Must present a portfolio of websites worked on
Must be highly self motivated and able to hit the ground running

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
