Human Resources Coordinator

MOSAIC is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to work in our Fulton, MD corporate office.
The Human Resources Coordinator provides assistance with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Essential Functions
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files. Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
Conducts audits benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
Assists with processing of terminations.
Assists with the oversight of the performance management process.
Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the ER Manager.
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
Files documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
Prepares new-employee files.
Conducts New Hire Orientation

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
Minimum of two years' HR experience
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Preferred Education and Experience
SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or PHR credential.
Experience with Paycom software.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
None required for this position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
