Position Objective


Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Doc Imaging Tech II!


 


Position requires a polished individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment to service our installed base of digital document scanners and microfilm reader/printers. You will be responsible for installation, repair and maintenance of digital document and microfilm scanners.



Essential Job Functions



  • Install new equipment at customer sites.

  • Install any related software and train customer on the equipment and software.

  • Repair equipment at the site location.

  • Includes complex disassembly, cleaning, and replacement of individual parts, reassembly, testing and adjustments.

  • Troubleshoot equipment to determine the cause of malfunctions.

  • Estimate parts and labor for repair.

  • Research the current cost of replacement equipment and recommends repair or replacement of the equipment.

  • Provide sales support as required.

  • Maintain tool kit, supplies, parts, and accurate inventory for assigned territory.

  • Accurate completion of invoices and expense reports in a timely manner.



Competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)



  • High degree of initiative.

  • Exceptionally skilled in organization, attention to detail and effective prioritization of duties.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Must be positive, outgoing, self-motivated and committed to building and maintaining strong customer relations.

  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.

  • Demonstrated electro-mechanical, digital electronic, and PC expertise.

  • Ability to use appropriate technology for the position (i.e. handheld computer, phone, laptop).

  • Must be able to travel locally on a daily basis to various customer sites.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

  • Must have excellent daily time management skills and be capable of prioritizing activities and schedule to obtain effective results.



Experience, Educational Reqts and Certifications



  • 2-4 years of experience related to technical/repair of business equipment.

  • High School and Technical School graduate or equivalent experience.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
