Senior DevOps Engineer - TS/SCI with Polygraph

Become a "cloud-aware" engineer through exposure to Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Enhance your current infrastructure skillset by solving technical problems by architecting, implementing, and managing complex cloud-based solutions. You will be given the opportunity to grow your current mastery of Linux, Unix, and Windows based operating systems through infrastructure evolution efforts on AWS. This is a multi-faceted position requiring you to spend time working directly with AWS services, and the underlying operating systems themselves, to create secure infrastructure solutions, increase environment scalability, and support software development toolkits.

A day in the life: (just a few of the things you may do on any given day)
  • Building custom infrastructure solutions to real world problems
  • Managing large, complex environments consisting of critical systems
  • Architecting infrastructure capabilities to account for scalability, reliability, and performance
  • Streamline manual processes by introducing automation efforts
  • Exposure to cutting edge technologies and methodologies on a daily basis
  • Ensuring that all solutions are implemented in a secure manner to protect our client
You will excel in this role if you are:
  • A technology translator : You help bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Well-Rounded: You bring in-depth experience across multiple and varying technologies including Linux and Windows O/S, DevOps, AWS and others.

What we are expecting from you (i. e. the qualifications you must have):
  • At least 12 years experience with Windows and/or Linux operating system environments, including installation, configuration, operation, and customization efforts.
  • Experience with cloud computing and virtualization platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), VMWare, Microsoft Azure, etc.
  • Experience with infrastructure configuration management tools such as SaltStack, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.
  • Ability to quickly learn and shift in step with the latest cloud-computing, networking, and infrastructure management technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP protocols that includes the ability to troubleshoot and correct errors.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Process oriented with great documentation skills.
  • TS/SCI with polygraph required.
  • BS in Computer Science, IT, IS, or equivalent area of technical study (An additional 4 years of IT experience can substitute for a BS Degree)
Nice to have:
  • Experience building and operating a Windows domain through the use of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, etc.
  • Experience working with infrastructure security tools/products such as Tenable, McAfee, Cylance, Security Onion, etc.
  • Experience with cloud based web hosting tools.
  • Experience with public cloud-based software defined networking and network security.
  • Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc.
  • Experience with Big Data tools such as HADOOP, HDFS and Accumulo
  • Demonstrated expertise working with traditional networking elements including routers, switches and firewalls across multiple product lines including Cisco and PaloAlto.
  • Technical certifications from organizations such as AWS, Cisco, RedHat, Microsoft, etc.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
