Principal Security Consultant - Cyber

As part of the national Presidio Cyber Security team, you will assist customers develop actionable securityblueprints, principles, models, designs, standards and guidelines to ensure their information security technology architecture is consistent, usable, secure and adds value to the business. You will have a solid understanding of network and security design principles based on industry best practices.  You will demonstrate a high level of design expertise, be highly motivated about learning new technologies, be able to effectively communicate with customers (both verbally and in writing), ensure superior customer service, and maintain strong customer relationships.  Key Responsibilities: You will lead engagements to help Presidio's customers to assess business goals, IT ongoing initiatives, and the associated security strategy. Develop strategic and tactical recommendations to customers leveraging industry experience and security frameworks. You will be responsible for coaching and mentoring others Ability to work under pressure. Maintains composure and professionalism in an interrupt-driven environment Ability to manage multiple and changing priorities/tasks You are flexible and embrace change Required Qualifications: We seek a Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent work and/or military experience along with a minimum of 6-10 years of experience. We seek Cisco CCNP/CCIE certificate or equivalent experience Relevant Security Industry Certifications (CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, etc.) Experience with security solutions that align with customer's compliance requirements and industry standards like PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001, NIST, CSF, ITIL, COBIT, Sarbanes Oxley, CIS Controls, etc. Strong industry knowledge and expertise in building comprehensive solutions. Solid documentation experience with Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel Ambitious and goal-oriented, with initiative to work until job is complete Experience with project deliverables from a VAR/Integrator experience is a plus Prior experienceworking closely with customers and collaborating with IT staff Potential candidates will possess experience and demonstrated expertise in at least one or more of the following areas: In-depth architectural and technical knowledge for the following technologies: Network Infrastructure (Routers/Switches/Load Balancers, etc.) Security Controls (Firewalls, NAC, IPS/IDS, Endpoint, Content Filter, VPN, SIEM, etc.) Virtualization Platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) Cloud (IaaS/PaaS/SaaS) (AWS, Azure, etc.) Working knowledge of Security Testing and Audit Platforms (Nessus, NMAP, etc.) Working knowledge of host/network common vulnerabilities and exploits (CVEs, IAVAs, etc.), hacker methodologies and tactics, and the tools used. Demonstrated effective decision-making skills related to implementing architecture and design Working Knowledge of the TCP/IP protocol suite, TCP/IP headers and packets, the OSI model, and commonly used TCP/UDP ports and associated services. Solid experience with Windows, Linux, Red Hat, etc. hosts, operating systems, and applications. Strong knowledge of scriptinglanguages like PowerShell, Python or bash Required Soft Skills: We seek an individual with strong technical and leadership skills, that will provide insight to current security initiatives and industry knowledge to drive effective and tailored recommendation to customers. Ability and initiative to work collaboratively or independently as a given situation dictates Demonstrated passion for technology, solution design, and self-study Comfort with leading group presentations, solution demonstrations, and whiteboard sessions  Strong technical expertise, communication, and documentation skills Solid verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
