Medical Dermatology Physician Assistant

years of general dermatology experience Adheres to and supports the mission, purpose, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures at Eternal Dermatology Adheres to Eternal Dermatology HIPAA Compliance Plan and the Privacy Standards Confidentiality Agreement Assist physicians as needed and see patients under a physician's supervision Practice general dermatology such as perform skin examinations, diagnose and treat common skin conditions Examine and assess patients to determine suitable course of treatment Perform appropriate biopsies as needed to detect skin conditions and skin cancer Counsel patients on treatment options and long term care of their skin Refer patients to the surgeons for necessary skin surgeries such as skin cancer Prescribe suitable and appropriate medications to patients as necessary Recommend diagnostic testing or refer patients to other specialists as needed Record patient's health history Provide exceptional bedside care and counsel to each patient Consult with and take direction from physicians regarding medical care of patients Maintain license through ongoing Continuing Medical Education credits as required Abide by OSHA, HIPAA, and other relevant medical office regulations Ability to make patients feel comfortable, welcome, and heard Positive and friendly Outgoing and Enthusiastic Empathetic Team player Ability to manage constantly changing, fast-paced environment Computer skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Azalea Practice Management System) Strong organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills Outstanding customer service TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION YOU MUST BE A BOARD CERTIFIED PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT WITH A VALID LICENSE OR HAVE THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN A LICENCE IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND.
